Default Sahara

Just thought some people might want to know,Went down to the Aladdin on Friday night to play in the $ 40 tournament, they added 5-6 tables to the room expanded it outwards and added about 4 or 5 flat screen TV's.One of the dealers also said they will be adding a daily 10 am or 11 am tournament cant remember. But the room is defintely getting better from what it was. Also the tournaments are starting to draw more people, the one i played in had about 180 as compared to 2 weeks ago had 91 and that was during the time i thought it would be nuts because of new years eve. If anyone is thinking of checking it out defintely do. And no i dont work for them, i've been to the room before and was surprised at the upgrades it's gotten.

This is the same thing that is posted on allvegaspoker.com and I have no idea if you are talking about the Sahara or the Aladdin.

Has to be the Sahara, he just made a mistake in the body of the review.

For one, the Aladdin is new, so there is no cleaning up needed.

Two, he talked about the night tourneys, and possible upcoming day tourneys. Aladdin already has day tourneys, Sahara never did, to my knowledge.

180 players at the Sahara? Did they expand their room?

That is what he said. He said they bumped it out, and added 5-6 tables. They probably bumped it out where those Beverly Hillbilly slots were.

I haven't been there in a while, although that is where I cut my poker teeth, and always felt very safe and secure there. The limits are just too small. Those guys treated me well, and I'll always appreciate that.

I think the last time I was in that room was 2001, and I recall it was just a dinky little room with maybe 6 or 8 tables. How times (and poker) have changed.

Felicia, it is the Sahara. I was there last week. There is a nice new railing, and the redesigned the layout of the room, FINALLY. You can actually walk around during tournaments. There are exactly 14 tables now as opposed to original 8 from last year. They also added 4 plasma TV's that need to be tweaked just a TAD lol.

btw, my original reply was to alert the poster of his inaccuracies in his post in case he recieves any PM's regarding this.

The Sahara had 10 tables when I was there in August. The tables spilled out of the room, and onto the main floor. The tournaments are VERY good, essentially there is only action in this room post tournament. Its a smoking room (booooooo) but no smoking suring the tournaments.

Yea it's my own fault i was tired it's the sahara as most of you have figured out , just was trying to let you know about the improvements to the room since i thought it was drastically better than when i was there the time before with a smaller set up. By the way yes it was 180 or so i believe, if not more we played 12 handed at tables for the 1st hour and a half which lead to my legs falling asleep 3 times in that hour and a half.
