What's my move here??

Live $500 buy-in NLHE event (I had won the seat in a little satellite).

Started with 200 players. Down to about 70. Top 15 or so will pay. I have a below-average stack of about 25,000 chips. Average chip count is probably 40,000.

Blinds are at 1200/2400. I am on the button with AQs. Folded around to the player just to my right who calls the 2400 BB. He has about the same number of chips as me. The blinds also have about the same number of chips.

The player on my right is pretty good, but maybe a little bit weak-tight.

When it gets to you, what do you do?

I'd be astonished if you didn't raise in this situation.
Of course, the amount to which you raise is in question.
What hand do you believe the weak/tight player to your right is holding?
Would he just call from that position with a hand that clearly dominates AQs? Most unlikely.
A call from your position is a useless play.
An appropriate raise is probably in the vicinity of 7,500, if all fold then you're around the average stack again.
The problem for you is how you respond to a re-raise...presumambly from the player to your right.
You're live, so that will be dependent upon the read you have.
Sounds as though its likely s/he's going to call your raise, rather than go back over the top.
That places you in an excellent position on the flop against a weak/tight opponent.
I don't see any real difficulties at this stage of your scenario (the decision after a call from teh player to your right).
It only becomes a matter of complexity after a consideration of the response to your raise.
