The R&R HOF has very "loose" criteria in terms of entry. Wait until hip-hop/rap acts start getting in...

The Beatles didn't make it until Year 3. Al Green and Gladys Knight are in. I guess I really don't know what rock music is.

Well...it also probably depends on when the people being inducted can actually make it to the ceremony. Paul/George/Ringo were probably too busy in years 1-2 to be bothered.

[/ QUOTE ]OK....looked this up. Beatles were inducted in '88...25 years after their first album was released.

I'm not very fluent in the rules for being inducted but I think the rule is that 25 years after the first album, the artist becomes eligible. So it appears some of these guys have been waiting a couple years, at least.

It certainly doesn't sound like it's going to be a great show.

All deserved. Its not like they have ballots and waiting lists for this, right?

Will Lydon even show for this?
