and to piggyback on your point again, who cares if he's pushing JTs? if his range is JTs+ QJ+ 66+ A6+ you're hosed. you need him to be pushing all kinds of crap - Q7s, K8o, 59s, etc. you need a big range, not just a tiny handful of things you're ahead of.

I'll piggyback on my piggyback.

I do beleive if you call here, you'd be burning money. You can't just say "if you are playing to win, you should gamble here." We are always playing to win/ maximize EV. There is simply a right and wrong answer here IMO. There are no antes, so even if he has A2o, you are barely getting the right price to flip.

Give me 77, 88, or AQ and I think we have a tough decision.

KQ I don't think its even close to being close.

and you still definitely want to fold if you know he has A2 because a blind might have a hand.

As most have said, this is an easy fold, he really needs to be on almost any2 to make this right. This guy is in MP openpushing for 12x, I doubt his range is wide enough for a call.

I probably call AQ+ 99+ (im kinda unsure about 99, I would make that decision based on how easy it would be for me to steal onto the final table.)

Hey guys,

I just realized that the converter sucks, and the blinds were 750/1500. So he actually pushed w/ less than 9xbb. Does that change anyone's opinion?

Sorry for not picking up on this, I didn't know the converter could mess up a thing like that.

Meh, it barely changes his range, and you're still not closing out action. You're still behind.

(And on a side note: i'm posting from my schools library, and this girl next to me just started hysterically crying. AWESOME.)
