Matchups:
Renaud Desferet vs. Victor Argus vs. TomCollins TeeJayORTj vs. Subfallen wonkadaddy vs. Colgin and captain vs. captain And on another note, I would like to get last week finished up. Renaud posted that his match was scheduled on Monday and he hasn't heard from ike since then. I would like to give ike two days to get back in touch and schedule something and if he hasn't then pick someone else from TMFS9's team to play Renaud. Commissioners, what do you think about this, fair? Do we need to wait on ike past Friday night? If so, how do we resolve this? regards, raisins

so is this HULA week over tomorrow, even tho it started today? i think some folks are losing interest because the rules are soooo hazy/lax. can we set actual dates for each week? and maybe enforce a process to get matches played/substitutions in/forfeits accepted? i think it's kinda ridiculous that we still have "ongoing" matches from week 2.
i try not to complain without making suggestions, so i propose something like the following ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <font color="red"> DATES-- All dates go until midnite of the day listed. The below dates are deadlines and everyone is encouraged to move quicker. HULAML Week 6 Sept 8 (Th) - Sept 16 (Fri-midnite) Captain (home team) matchups posted Sep 9 (Fri-midnite) Players contact each other Sept 12 (Mon-midnite) </font> 1. this HULA week continues through the end of Friday, Sept 16. at that point all matches from previous weeks AND this week need to be completed (in worst case scenarios matches from THIS week may be scheduled (but not matches from previous weeks) 2. home team captains should post their choices for matchups on the HULAML thread by the end of Friday, Sept 9. If matchups are not indicated on the thread before then everyone plays their counterpart (first pick vs first pick, etc) 3. opposing team members should contact each other to schedule their match. if your opponent hasn't responded by midnite on Monday, you should ask YOUR captain for a replacement. (if your capt. isn't available go ahead and choose whomever you want to play and contact them) 4. if the regular match or replacement match aren't played (or in worst case scenarios at least scheduled) by the end of the HULA week a forfeit will be awarded. any subsequent play won't affect standings. 5. the commish will make final decisions in the case of forfeits. (all of the above are NOT CURRENTLY HULAML rules. just suggestions to get this thing going again) --wonka </font> <font color="red"> </font>
