Default 6 max position question

Hi,

I usually play full ring at .5/1 limit, but have played my last 2K hands at .5/1 6max on Betholdem site.
In 10 player tables I use SB,BB next 3 as EP, next 3 as MP, and last 2 as LP.

My question is in 6 max tables what seats do you place as what positions. I currently use SSH chart and am thinking that it would be SB,BB next seat as EP, next seat MP, and last 2 LP. Am I right in that assumption or is something else the standard?

Thanks,
Ex

Generally, you should play as if the first 4 people folded.

This is a great place to start.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm using the chart from SSH, basically I'm just trying to see if my labeled positions are correct for 6 max. Last 2 being LP for that chart.

Thanks,

When using the SSH chart, 6max would be: SB, BB, MP1, MP2, CO, Button. (The last two being LP, indeed.)

But when using that short handed chart that was posted, 6max would be SB, BB, UTG, MP, CO, Button. Each position gets its own column there (except the blinds, since they aren't covered).
