i have enough disipline to play poker online correctly and to count cards using hi-lo in the casino correctly....... however when it comes to online blackjack, I just don't trust myself........ anyone have the same feelings about it?

Luckily this bonus doesn't take very long to clear, so there's not much time to get out of line.

Just bet $5 per hand for 200 hands, cash out and log off! I know, I know, easier said than done.

thanks - that's what i thought - apart from in only 200 bets, virtually anything could happen - doubling your money or losing it all being almost equally likely

for the more cautious types, perhaps $1 bets would be "safer" - although i assume there is no auto-play, so Homer is suggesting bigger bets so you don't have to "waste" time - maybe having the bj table open while you play poker and making $1 bets wouldn't be a bad idea?

Top-left chart is hourly rate vs bet size.

Bottom-left chart is standard deviation vs bet size. 2/3 of results will be within plus or minus 1 SD.

Homer, I just used the link you provided where the website says 100% Bonus up to $200 - however, I received only the $40. No availability of phone support, I clicked the contact button and got 50 pop-ups before my computer crashed!

Now, I have an email in to support. I'll play when they credit me with another $160 in bonus, and will mention it here when they do. It's 3:03 Arizona Time.

It's not surprising that you only received $40 (they will credit the other $160 shortly). However, I'm surprised about the popups.

Default How much should I deposit?

Hi,

I've looked up risk of ruin information online and can't really get clear on it.

Can someone tell me what size deposit I should make for this bonus playing $5 per hand?

Is the $200 enough... or is it possible to lose it all even playing the right basic strategy?

Thanks for any help with this.

Kindly,
ezinestein

Look at the chart I posted in this thread (use flat mode, not threaded).

Do not deposit more than $200 or you will have to bet more to clear the bonus.

FYI, if you haven't done CON yet, you should do them as well. It is $200 for $200 with a $2000 WR.
