Unless MP had 77 and was trying to isolate a weak UTG limper, he's overplaying his hand.

AQ is unlikely. KK I would discount significantly.

nevermind. none of those make much sense for him. A8, 88 and 77 are the only hands really (and these dont make too much sense with the flop action). i like bet/3-bet.

How often is a8 or 77 raising the river do you think?

i don't know. maybe i do like check raising instead.

yeah i do. when you bet, it's QQ almost every time. when you check, he thinks AA/KK every time.

I would bet. If he's looking for a reason to check the that card gives him a few. Plus you get at least 3 bets if he raises.
