Default London, NL & PL Games

Can anyone tell me which clubs in London offer either no-limit or pot-limit games? The bigger the game, the better. Also, any details of the games/clubs are appreciated (e.g., which nights offer particular games, how many games are spread, how nice the club is, etc).

Thanks!

The Victoria (Vic) Casino offers pot limit games from GBP50 buy-in upwards. The Gutshot cardroom offer mainly small pot-limit games with buy-ins of GBP25 (fixed) GBP50 minimum and GBP100 minimum with occasional higher games. Both have websites you can google.

I think some more places have opened recxently but have not lived in London for a year so dunno. remember to take a passport with you when you go to either in order to get your membership.

If you want to play really high stakes, the Vic will be your best bet.

When I went to the Vic last April, the minimum PL buy-in was 200 pounds. Everyone knew each other and the place, compared to the B&M's in the U.S., was a complete dump.

On a good note, I think they changed the rule that said you need a membership card and have to wait 24 hrs before playing.

You still need a membership card but don't have to wait 24 hours to get one. They do 50 pound and 100 pound PL on demand - but if noone wants to play for those stakes then all that'll be running is the 200 pound minimum ones.

To the OP, you'll rarely find NL games in the UK - PL is the norm.
