hold\'em poker
Is Hold'EM Poker worth reading if you have read and understand SSHE and HEPFAP? I know I was suppose to read Hold'em Poker first, but will I gain any new info out of it now?

In all honesty, you probably won't get much more out of reading Hold'em if you already read HEPFAP and SSE.
HEP was also originally written on the old blind structure so that may make the book less relevent. But HEP will always be a classic with the introduction of hand groups and hand rankings, etc... In a thread some time ago, Mason proclaimed it to be the most important poker book ever. I still believe it should be great reference reading and should be part of every serious poker library.

[/ QUOTE ] the double blind structure was updated in the book for all editions dated 1997 and later. 2+2 wouldn't bother to continue selling the book if that part wasn't fixed. it's still an EXCELLENT introduction for beginners and packs a lot of useful, correct information into a very compact 110 pages or so, making for a efficient and unintimidating read. chapter 4 "Flops You Want" and the chapter 5 strategy sections are as good as any first-timer books that have been written since. the only potential drawback is the $19.95 list price which seems high for a skinny book. but it's readily available at most discount retailers for 25-40% off.
