we should try to have an informal meet up.

I don't know about the rest of the time, but I'll probably be at IP around mid-day Friday and mid-day Sunday, wearing a blue SD Padres cap. Though I can't consider any plans this weekend to be solid enough to commit to. "Aaron." gl!

Mandalay has a juicy 4/8 kill game if she's feeling adventurous.

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm hoping she is. Though not necessarily with her poker money.

I'll be there too this weekend. I'll be playing at Luxor, IP, Aladin, and Excalibur. 2/4, 3/6 and 1/2 NL.

I'm from San Diego too but I'm a Dodgers fan.

Ha. I ended up only playing at IP for an hour before moving over to Excalibur for $1-3 on Friday and Saturday nights. My girlfriend ended up doing better than me.

I think the 1-3 is -EV because unless it has changed you don't get to spin the wheel. Aces get cracked pretty often at that level.

Which day were you at the IP? I was there Friday and Saturday night playing 2/4, and Friday night there were a few people from San Diego at my table.

IP 2/4 are the softest games on the planet IMO, though I haven't been to MGM's new poker room yet. I can't imagine worse players anywhere though.

I left at around 6:30pm on Friday. There weren't any San Diegans at my table.

The players there were bad, like 0.25-0.50 online kind of bad, and I actually left that room with lighter pockets. I had four drunk software engineers (or something) at my table. One played literally every hand, and raised pf with about 75%. He caught a straight flush and some other nice hands. Then there was the anorexic who believed she was acting dumb even though she's really a shark, when she was, in fact, pretty bad. e.g. I flop a set of 6's on a KJ6 (four handed) board and she cold-calls my raise. The turn was an 8 and she lit up. You can guess what she had. I didn't have the heart to lose any more money there, even if it was a potential goldmine. The trip was for fun, and I actually had more of it, and did much better, at the Excalibur 1-3.

You are correct sir. 2-6 is the way to play.
