Default Yesterday was alright

Variance has treated me horribly lately. A 15-ish buyin downswing in NL$400 and taking too much out of my bankroll for spending, has forced me to grind NL$100 and $200 full ring for a week's time. Before last night, I had pushed my bankroll from $1000 up to around $3500.

I came home about 10 hours ago, pretty drunk after celebrating my roommates birthday. I find the apartment a mess after the party. No surprise, but a trashed apartment that you know you have to clean up in the morning, is always a depressive sight. I hurry to my computer so I won't have to think about the mess.

Yesterday was the last day I had a chance to play poker for a while, and I had 500 hands or so left of my party deposit bonus, so I decided to grind it out. I felt pretty clear minded. I feel that my bankroll is about big enough to take a shot at NL$400, and hopefully run well, but Ghazban is playing against this huge fish in NL$600, so I jump in. Well, one thing leads to another, and I've had no sleep tonight:

I tend to get wicked deep when I run hot :

I don't get the cold-call on the button with 43s. It's a pretty hand and all, but damn, you must have really felt that straight comin. Congrats.
