Default StumbleUpon (Mozilla Extension)

This is a sweet extension for Firefox. You can choose what kind of sites you want to visit, click a button on your status bar and it will take you from site to site. Basically half the illusion/game/joke links I've seen posted in OOT, I've seen previously because of this extension.

yeah, I've been using this for about 2 months now.

I won't [censored] pile you Homer, cause you're the man, but this has been discussed here several times.

It is indeed quite awesome.

Ehh, give me the pile. I've never gotten it before. I'm pretty sure anything I can think of posting has been done before.

A box of baking soda in the fridge or freezer absorbs odors
kitchen myth cooking urban legend

This is a very clever and successful marketing ploy by the baking soda people, but the fact is that baking soda is very poor at absorbing odors. It seems to make sense, however, so lots of people have spent untold billions of dollars to put boxes of baking soda in their fridge or freezer to no effect. Activated charcoal would work much better but is expensive. Better to wrap your food and clean the fridge once in a while.

WTF I've been lied to all this time!!!
