Flush Split Pot Question
Is the following a split pot?
Player1: 3s, 10d Player2: 4s, 10h Community Cards: As, Ks, Qs, Js, 5c, 6c One of my players said that because the highest spade was on the board it's a split pot, the other said that because his spade was higher than the pocket 4s is higher than the pocket 3s, the player with the pocket 4s wins. Thx, |

Re: Flush Split Pot Question
4s wins, the guy who said "highest spade on the board splits it" is a f'in moron or a cheat, ask him which he prefers

Re: Flush Split Pot Question
np, next time this happens just compare the two five-card hands in front of the players (I will usually turn any non pertinent cards face down in front of the applicable players and turn down any board cards that don't play)... "THIS is your hand and *THIS* is his hand, do you see which one is the better poker hand?"

Re: Flush Split Pot Question
Just out of curiousity what game were you playing? I've never seen any type of poker with 6 community cards.
