Hand 1 it's easy to not lose more because the guy played his KK like a bitch, and what hands minraise the river that I beat, I doubt AK does this, I've played with the player enough that the only hands I could see him do thsi with are AA/KK so still felt like I had to call, but I just "knew" he had KK. meh.

Hand 2 - I just have trip jacks, he could have anything so that's why I didn't lose so much. Sometimes the games play so tight that when I'm button I raise with any 2 cards, if he is doing the same thing on that board then you don't eactly want to commit with that hand...

I feel like this a lot too, but keep in mind that if the roles are reversed you win more than these guys will with the same hands.

I'm not saying anything about the rivers, or really even hand 2. I think both rivers are good. But in the first hand you flop a set with a flush draw on the board and no money goes in. Usually I would lose a lot more in the hand because it wouldn't get checked around on the flop. That's all I'm saying.

Yeah again, it's weird, I play live and online. When I play live, I lead into raisers with sets because I know they will not let go of AA/KK. But online, I find myself check-raising sets and equal amount of the time as leading when the pot is multiway and there is a potential draw. In this hand, I was fully expecting to check-raise this flop to eliminated the 3rd player and hopefully stack the raiser.

paying off like a slot machine. I mean I really am better than any of you at it. Jesus. Do you get away from these?

2/4

I limp 33, someone makes it 16 to go, 1 caller, I call.

Flop K73 2 clubs

checked around

Turn J

I lead for 32, raiser called.

River 7

I bet 40, villain minraises. I'm about 70% sure he has KK and I call anyway.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are only 70% sure you are beat, then you are supposed to call.
