Did I play this badly?
What do you guys think of this?
Was playing online at Pacific Poker in one of their Sit and Go tournaments. I get dealt J-J and happy when I see the flop of Q-4-J. Decide to slow play it to suck in as much money as possible. Turn is a Queen. So now I have a full house Jacks over Queens. I raise all-in and get called by another guy. River is an Ace. The guy was holding A-Q! |

Re: Did I play this badly?
Wow, what an insane beat. You got your money in good and lost anyway. Don't the poker gods know you DESERVED to win that hand?

Try posting this using the Hand Converter
for your next hand posting. Also try posting it in the appropriate forum ( ie. micro-small-mid-high stakes or SnG/MTT forums) |

I'd probably take my own life after this hand.

I'd probably take my own life after this hand. [/ QUOTE ] Nah, I'd keep playing poker. Beats like this are so rare, that once one of these happens, I know I'm not due for another one for at least two years. Until then truth and justice will be served at the table. |

Re: Did I play this badly?
Yes, you played it badly. You should have folded preflop. I bet you were using Party Poker's pattern mapper, which obviously doesn't work on Pacific Poker.

Re: Did I play this badly?
Flames Aside.....
Don't slowplay middle or bottom sets. Also, don't ever slowplay when the board shows str8 or flush potential. Why give your opponent a free card to beat you? But you probably already know this......and that is why the 2+2ers are flaming you. |
