Default Very mad about this hand.

Hi, this is my first ever post so please critique my format as well as my play. I didnt have any reads because i was multitasking at work

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls, 1 fold, CO calls, Button calls, SB completes, BB checks.

I think my pre flop limp is ok, but let me know otherwise

Flop: (8 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (8 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, CO calls, Button calls, SB folds, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls.

Turn: (7 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 players)
UTG+1 checks, UTG+2 checks, MP1 checks, Hero bets, CO folds, Button calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds.

Oh boy! What could possibly go wrong?

River: (10 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
UTG+2 checks, Hero checks, Button bets, UTG+2 calls, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 12 BB

Is this an easy river fold? I would have called it if it would have been a heads up showdown considering the size of the pot.

I probably check/fold that river. I don't see what he's going to call you with that you beat.

Hand looks fine. Overcalling the river here looks bad. I don't think bet/fold on the river works here either because a better hand isn't folding and a worse hand isn't calling. I'd call it HU thou.

Pre-flop limp is fine.
I would have paid the bet at the end. In essence, I believe your hand is second-best to the button here, but you should still have bet getting 10-1, especially since UTG+2 isn't really playing poker here IMO. There is more than a 10% chance that the button is playing KJ, KT, AXo, some other non-queen hand, or he is bluffing the scare card. That bet on the river is an automatic for me in this situation, with this medium pot size. You should be mad about missing the river bet!

If he is known to be a bluffer with scare cards call, if not, fold.
