Earlier this week Vijay Singh described himself as "not fake like a lot of guys are."

He's right. The a-hole he is is the a-hole you get.

how is VJ an [censored]? I'm the most casual of golf fans, i watch saturday and sunday of majors, so its ignorance not disagreement, but what has VJ done thats so bad?

His remarks about Anneka, his argument with Phil about the spike marks, and the remark I quoted about not being fake like some others. Those three for starters.

He was also banned on the Asian tour for two years for altering a score card to make a cut. (Vijay denies it.)

Well, the Annika thing seemed legit - I mean she shouldn't have been given a special spot on the men's tour..

Not sure what the spike marks are about..

And the fake thing is hard to prove either way unless you know him..

Not much evidence for him being an a-hole.
