Default Small Flush, misplayed?

Pretty sure I misplayed this one, but where?

UTG+1 ($18.40)
Hero ($21.25)
MP1 (24.75)
MP2 ($2.70)
BB ($17.10)

Preflop: Hero is UG+2 with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.10. BB posts a blind of $0.20.

UTG+1, Hero, MP1, MP2 limp, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.10) 2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 players)
BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $0.60 , MP1 raises to $1.20, MP2 calls $1.20, BB calls $1.20, UTG+1 folds , Hero calls $1.20.

Turn: ($5.90) J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
BB bets $2.34, Hero calls $2.34, MP1 calls $2.34, MP2 calls $1.30(All-In).

River: ($14.22) A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players, 1 all-in)

BB bets $3, Hero calls $3, MP1 raises $6, BB calls $6, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $29.22

Results in white below:

<font color="white">BB shows K,Q (Straight, Ace high.)
MP1 shows A,J (Full House, Aces full of Jacks)
MP2 shows Q,10 (Two Pair, Aces over Tens) </font>

Why are you betting into 4 players, for 1/2 the pot, with a small flush draw?

You're not getting everyone to fold.. So what's the point there? I'm new here, so maybe I'm missing something.. But I don't like that flop play.

You have to raise the turn. Another diamond kills your hand, pairing the board may kill it too. I'd raise the turn to at least $6, more likely $7 or $8.

I don't like your fold on the end either. As strong as the min-raise looks, you're getting practically 10:1. You don't think you're winning that hand 1 in 11 times?

Unless MP1 is petrified of the Royal, he left a ton of money on the table with the min-raise.

River bet was so small relative to pot he could have raised to 8 or 10 and probably been called by a lot of other possible hands

Raise the turn HARD - at least $8 and more like $10-$11, especially with so many people in the pot (there's $8.24 in the pot when it gets to you, plus the $2.34 you're going to call - PSB = $10.58). You want to force anyone drawing to the flush with a big diamond to pay the max. If the fool with 2 pairs calls this type of raise you can add him to your buddy list for later exploitation .

Raise the turn. There are plenty of cards that you don't want to see on the river.

You're not trying to get anyone to fold. This is actually a pot-building value bet based on the odds of your flush coming in. Yes, it's a small flush, but this is a short-handed table and you've got two diamonds in your hand (as opposed to a small diamond with 3 diamonds on board). If another diamond hits, you've got a very strong chance of winning the hand. If someone had bet in front of him (assuming he was in later position), he'd need 3-1 to make calling profitable. In this case, by leading with 1/2 PSB, he's still getting the right odds even if only one person calls. And if they all fold, well that's good too.

The bet has the added bonus of creating deception. To a less-knowledgable player, it looks an aweful lot like an A or AT.
