Who says suited connectors are -EV?
There not -EV, but it looks as if you are on a mission to make them negative. Peace, Joe Tall |

Re: Who says suited connectors are -EV?
Dont reraíse preflop.
Dont bet the flop if you hadn´t raised preflop. Or when you did for that matter, you are asking to be isolated with a draw. Eliminating the field doesn´t help your hand. I dont know the words to describe the turn checkraise. Normally you would have an easy check-raise on the river as you would have been "less" aggressive. You might still have one though. |

Why on earth would you check-raise the turn? [/ QUOTE ] I'll take a stab that he thought the button was on auto-bet when checked to. Since the button didn't raise the flop, he figured the button didn't have much hand, but enough to win a showdown. He put the blind on a draw and figured that he could use the blind to leverage the button into a fold, leaving him to inherit the pot on the river if clubs didn't come. Probabaly not going to work very often in anything short of an $80-160 game. |
