I try and steal and the board gets ugly

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
5 folds, Hero raises, 2 folds, BB calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets, BB calls.

Turn: (3.20 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
BB checks, Hero .....

Sometimes I bet and they fold, sometimes I check behind and fold to a river bet UI. I'm not sure which is right.

I don't think betting is wrong here. The flop was a bunch of rags so villian always has two overs right there, and figures you raised with two overs too. The A has to scare him. I think I bet and hope for the fold. I'm giving it up on the river and I'm instafolding to a check raise.

Ok reads.. Are we taking the time to look at CR% ? I never do that. Should I be?

I did have a few hands on this guy and he seems like a SL-P

C/R% would be helpful as would WSD. In general though get a feel for whether A-rag is this guys primary defense hand or if hell call with a broader range and release when he misses. There's no easy answer to this question.
