Re: the end of 2+2 as we know it...
[ QUOTE ]
Big deal. Half the stuff posted here is wrong. Once you get here, you have to work to learn - going through archives, understanding discussion, posting hands. Getting here is 1% of the battle - any j-hole can get here. [/ QUOTE ] I share this sentiment, but I think a couple of facts are being neglected. The single biggest improvement that a bad player can make is also the easiest change to make - tighten up. The second biggest improvement is almost as easy - fold the flop frequently. It won't take much for a LP (loose-passive) to become a TP (tight-passive/rock). LPs bleed money, rocks can be moderate long-term winners. |

Lol I don't get their point. And yes it's true you have to work to become good. The example of people they show are complete idiot that would have burn their money in other things.
Beginning : " POKER IS BAD IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!" End : "eh check out these site to play! Great site!" lol??? Oh and I think they should not have post twoplustwo adress. Although, 2+2 is so not first timer-friendly. I really hated the layout when I was not register to the site. |

Well just up your game then.
Me, I'm not that worried because I'm pretty sure I'm one of the top poker players in the world.* --Zetack *And by top, I mean the best 68.3 percent of poker players in the world. |

Ever wonder why casinos sell “Basic Blackjack Strategy” books 30 feet from their tables?
Giving masses of people a reason to believe that they’re better than they are is about the best thing I can think of to happen to online poker. --Greg |

Then, those rocks starting posting threads on multiple monitors and start 8-tabling. Say 1000 people check out 2+2 because of that article. Say 5% become Zoo regulars and pretty good players. 50 new pros X 8 tables per pro = 400 new rocks to navigate. Woohoo! Advertising for online poker, good. Advertising for 2+2 forums, bad. |
