Default Best monitor for less than $350

Just wondering if anyone can advise...what is the best monitor I can get for less than $350? I would like to use it in conjunction with my current monitor for multitabling.

Thanks in advance.

Are you looking for a CRT or a Flat Panel LCD? What size?

I'll say it before someone else does. Wait until you can get a 2001FP. It's only another 100-200 more depending on when you get it and you'll be glad you did.

I waited a long time to get my first, but it was beyond my expecations and I bought a 2nd soon after.

I really don't like Dell from past experiences, but I love this monitor.

I got my last 2001FP for $380 shipped, might be worth the extra 30 bucks.

If I can afford LCD, I would get it. I'd like to have a 19 in., if possible. I am only just beginning the process, and needed help narrowing the field.

Which would be better a 17, LCD, or a 20 CRT?

I'm guessing it involved some combination of several or all of the following:

-On sale
-Dell BigBucks $35 coupon
-Dell Preferred Account discount
-Living in a state with no sales tax

I got it on sale with nothing else and after tax my last one was $448 shipped.

close. I got the deal too, it was something like $387. It was on sale, had 2 coupons, one like 25% off, the other was like $65 off. Then if you bought it through DPA (dells credit card) you got an extra 10% off. Best deal Ive seen in a LONG time.
