Default Poker Tracker\'s Auto Rate

Hey guys,

There has probably been a ton of posts about this before, but I would like to know what your auto rates are for NL 6-max? Perhaps a link? The default ones seem to be for ring game limit.

It's fairly useless for no limit. I've abandoned pokertracker for ingame stats completely.

Why? I agree you can't rely on them as much in NL, but its nice to sit down at a table and already know who is the fish and who is the maniac without even playing with them. This can help greatly with table selection. (I leave it observing tables while I'm away)

I agree about getting initial reads, but that's about all I use it for. I find I play better and focus more without the PT and a HUD. But I only play 3 tables of 6-max so it is pretty easy to follow every hand.

I try and use PT together with my notes. Get initial read from PT and then watch to see how much/little each player conforms to the autorate.
I also like it because Im not good at remebering names, so it helps when I see a player again and can remember that he is TAG even if I have no specfic notes on him.

The ratings don't necessarily indicate good or bad (some of them indicate bad, but not all). They are simply a way to put your opponent on a style and on hand ranges.

You can have winning tight aggressive players, winning loose aggressive players, etc. etc. But they are going to have different hand ranges in different situations.
