Ideal Situation for AA...But...
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (8 handed) converter
Hero ($59.35) SB ($141.08) BB ($48) UTG ($44) UTG+1 ($38.50) MP1 ($41.20) MP2 ($57.45) CO ($90.86) No reads or stats on any of the players...first orbit at the table. Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25. UTG raises to $2, 3 folds, CO raises to $5, Hero raises to $10, 2 folds, UTG calls $8, CO calls $5. The only hands that I put the CO on were QQ;KK;AKs; and AA, with AA and QQ being less likely. I guess CO could have been trying to isolate UTG, but I hadn't seen enough to determine if that was the case. On the flop, I'm thinking that I'm either WA or WB, so I defaulted to a std size "continuation" bet. Flop: ($30.75) K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players) UTG checks, CO checks, Hero bets $15, UTG folds, CO calls $15. Unfortunately, the smooth-call dosen't give me any new info, but now I was thinking he had AKs, or AK. Turn: ($60.75) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) CO checks, Hero bets $34.35 (All-In), CO calls $34.35. Doea anyone check behind here? And if you do check behind, do you call any decent sized river bet? River: ($129.45) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in) Final Pot: $129.45 |

Re: Ideal Situation for AA...But...
make it 15-20 preflop and push the flop, unless your opponents are very good and then you may have to CC PF and play some poker (only do this with reads, PT history, etc.)
