Default nhl 10/20

5 games fit tonight. I realize the Islanders bet is essentially throwing away money, but I'm loyal to the system.

Total record YTD: 6-6
Total units YTD: +3.25

Islanders -1.5 (+210) vs. Rangers
Maple Leafs -1.5 (+180) vs. Hurricanes
Penguins -1.5 (+230) vs. Devils
Stars -1.5 (+180) vs. Kings
Flames -1.5 (+205) vs. Oilers

I don't know if i like the stars to cover the spread. I think it's definitely close though.

Love the Leafs with the spread (what? bias?)

Don't like the Stars or the Flames with the spread, but I'll stick with the moneylines there, probably.

I don't like the money line on the flames game, it's definitely lower than 2:1. The spread i think is reasonable, but close as well.

my question is, is there ever a moneyline that somehow has a spread that is somehow more profitable??

I cant imagine very many situations where this would be the case..?

I'm seeing -145 for the Flames ML, which I don't mind. Not great though, I agree. I'm nervous about coughing up the goal given Calgary's difficulty scoring this year. Also, the battle of Alberta is pretty intense for those involved, so I think a close game is reasonably likely.

the pick of the night was the lightning at (-1.5) (+200)....they were the only team i took against the spread b/c the thrashers put in a new rookie goalie who let in 3 goals on 7 shots before he was yanked..final, 6-0 lightning

hockey+me=PWND

I placed 8 bets and Tampa moneyline might be the only winner.
