Default Right time for all-in?

I just played in a live tourny.

Blind structure was very fast.

25-50, 50-100, 100-200, 200-400, 300-600, 100 Ante, 500-1000, 200 Ante

Blinds going up every 20 minutes.

We started with 4000 chips, so the first few rounds weren't bad.

I suffered one bad beat. During 100-200 level, I raise to 800...opponent goes all in for 1200 more, so 2000 total. He says "i have to go study" (which was the common theme for the very loose players and bad all ins). I call he turns over "57 unsuited!!", I have AK suited, and he catches a 7.

I was down to about 1800 at that point, i built my stack up to 3600 when this hand comes up....

Blinds 300-600 Ante 100

MP doubles the blind (I have been playing with him for a while, 2xBB mostly means his marginal hands)

I'm on his left with two players to act after me. I come over the top all in (I am down to 6xBB with blinds going up to 500-1000 in 10 minutes)

He thinks I am very tight ive shown down two hands (99 and AK)
He was about to fold too, but then some ppl at the table told him he was getting pot odds so he called. I dont really like ppl giving others advice during a hand, but what can you do at a university tourny. He has A5 suited, so its basically a race. He catches an Ace and I am out of the tourny.

My question is whether I was right to move all in there. (At best i would be a slight favourite...at worst a huge dog to an overpair if he was being sneaky)

Thanks
MacExcel

I think he has a problem with the links at the bottom of your post.
