what is the best AC daily tourney?
Just looking for opinions...
My experience has been that the Showboat is the most bang for the buck though i wish there were more players there... 50 for 5000 in chips and a pretty reasonable structure seems to beet the borgatas daily tourney. i have no exp with ceasers or taj tourneys... or the trop for that matter. thanks for you input |

Re: what is the best AC daily tourney?
I wanted to play the Showboat tournament @ 7 last Friday but it was cancelled--too busy I guess.
I have played the one at Borgata twice and enjoyed it (especially the time I came in 2nd!)--a lot of fishy players but no real jerks. I played at Sands once and I think I was one of maybe two players who had other employment. Except for one gentleman who cursed every loss mightily, they were pleasant enough, but everyone seemed to have an angle, if you know what I mean. So far I would have to vote for the Borgata, but I think my criteria differ from yours. |

Re: what is the best AC daily tourney?
The Taj structures aren't nearly as good as they used to be but you get much better sized fields there. You also don't have to worry about getting shut out as there is no cap thanks to the new tourney area. The Saturday morning $200 is a good one and the Sat. Night $300 is great too, top prize in the Sat Nite is in $12,000 to $20,000 range depending.

Thanks
As for the showboat one - I found the play to be pretty weak but with a growing group of regulars that seem to know each other and how they play.
The Borgata daily doesn't give too many chips to start but there are enough players that you end up with nice stacks... I just really wanted to know what everyone thinks about all the other ones...I didn't even know Sands had a poker room. I've played at Borgata, Taj, Trop, Ceasers, Ballys |
