I think you have to call a river bet even if the king does not hit for the same reason he called the turn bet. In addition it would help give a read on how villian is playing.

Yes, you cant fold to an overcard (even an ace) unless you are more than 90% sure here that villian has it. He bet into you on the flop so you can't assume he isnt overplaying a paired queen on the flop. Maybe he is aggressive enough to try to see if you are on an ace.

Possible hand ranges due to the preflop raise and flop action in my mind include

AK, AQ, KQ, QJ and clubs. The fact that he checked the river indicates that he was beaten by an A or K or missed his clubs draw.

I don't think we can be 75% sure he has AQ. I'm not even 20% sure he has AQ. I think it's pretty likely he has an ace, but getting like 13ish:2 on a showdown I'd probably show it down unless there was any unexpected aggression from the SB. Was MP1 the calling station, or was it SB?

i think the point where the op didnt feel 'great', was when the 15.5 pot got shipped to MP2 with AQo =P

you are rooting for him to have aq on this turn... it puts you in the same shape that you would be in if he had a2, but boosts are implied odds.

I think you have to consider folding a Q or a club. Besides that, yes.

Unless MP2 is a muppet, you can fold the turn.

Well MP2 did indeed have AQ.
SB (the calling station type) had AJ

And so I won, with 3 Kings

I felt BAD, only because I don't think I should have called the turn, I don't think I win often enough to make that call worthwhile. I even apologized!
