Default November Goals

I reached most of my goals this past month (someone should bump the October goals post), but I am going to reach all my goals this month.

So, post your goals for November here.

Mine:

1. Play 15K hands of poker. 5K 3/6, 10K 2/4.

2. Finish reading TOP, since I didnt do it last month.

3. Post/reply more here. I have been slacking there also.

4. Review my poker tracker database of my past months hands. I had a 200BB downswing in there, and although I recovered nicely, I want to make sure I didn't make too many mistakes.

5. Continue to enjoy poker. No tilt.

1. Start playing poker again...A nice mix of 1/2, 2/4, 20+2 LHE SnGs, NL25 as well as some NL50. I'm not gonna shoot for a certain amount of hands cause I know I wont reach it...baby steps

2. Become a bonuswhore

3. Finish King Yao's book, and start How Good is Your Limit Hold'em by Jacobs and Brier

4. "Understand" Physics...[censored] confusing stuff

5. AND FINALLY...On Saturday Nov. 19th, watch the Fresno St. Bulldogs derail the two-time defending NCAA National Champions; the USC Trojans

Its unfortunate that I can't make the trip, cause its gonna happen my friend. Hopefully we'll be sitting on an 8-1 record and a ~Top 15 ranking come game time.

That would be the most awesomest thing this season...second only to the whupping that the Hokies give the Longhorns in the resulting title match a la 95 Sugar Bowl

Gobble gobble!

They could win every game from now until then and afterwards, and Fresno State would still not be among the 25 best teams in the nation. I count 9 teams that Fresno State outranks in the AP poll that would beat the Bulldogs. For posterity's sake, those teams are : Michigan, California, Louisville, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Northwestern, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Tennessee. And I would like very much to add Virginia as the 10th team in that list, and perhaps I could if they hadn't blown it against North Carolina, but every team gets one free pass, and we used it against Maryland. Our loss against North Carolina was just inexcusable. Ugh.

I'm glad you wasted it on FSU. Any way you can hook up a 2+2 micro brother with game tix in C-ville? Or maybe last week's game took the air out of hoo fans and it'll be easy to skalp

Get over your "accurate" rankings...you've never seen them play...I doubt you've seen half the teams you listed(as being better) actually play. They played a solid game against the "#13" team in the nation(in which they could/should have won) and theyre much improved since last year([link] Fresno St vs UVA in last years MPC Bowl[/link]. Dont hate just cause they play in a joke conference...It'd be like someone assuming that EVERYONE in the Micro-forum was a bad player because they played ridiculously low stakes.
