Playing the game which must not be named is not an option, since I have neither the bankroll nor the skills to make enough.

Sorry to be Vince Lombardi, but this simply means you don't have the desire. $1000/month is easy, assuming you have enough money to play $1/2 or do cheap casinos bonuses. this is way better than any $10/hour 2nd job you'll pick

Sperm donor.

This is a better option than you think. There's a place around here that pays $100 a rub so long as your sperm count is high enough, and you can do it as often as you want. One of my friends does it, and is going on a streak of 17 straight days.

I want to find something I can make $1,000 / month doing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Take home? That's a pretty decent chunk of change for a parttime job. Assuming that you can get $10/hour doing menial work, that's 100 hours a month, or 25 hours a week. That's a [poop]load of crap work for the Man.

I suggest you start living below your means, and take some of those 25 hours a week to improve your current position into a higher paying job. Or use them to become a better [unmentionable] player [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] You can make 10/hour at Absolute[unmentionable] on bonus alone.

Using that time of yours to do retail or whatever is just a waste of your talent and skills.

Is there a Dillards near you? They pay $10/hr and some depts pay commission. They will treat you like [censored] but if you just want something for a few months you can do that, slack off when you want then bail when they start giving you the business.

All good thoughts in your post, but the above is the fundamental problem. I took a large pay cut a couple years ago to change jobs and I didn't downsize my lifestyle enough. Not even close to enough.

I've looked at my budget, figured out what can be cut, but unless I want to start defaulting on stuff, living below my means isn't going to happen unless my income goes up.

Which means second job PLUS figuring out how to make more money at job A.

In my spare time, I will probably try and take the game which must not be mentioned more seriously, but if I keep withdrawing what I make each month to chip away at the debt, I'm going to playing $1/$2 (at best) forever.

Thanks for the thoughtful post, and to those others who had decent ideas. And whoever said it (Metetron?), yeah it does indeed suck to be me.

If you are making a living at sales and you don't enjoy it, you're [censored]. Better get out now. You will never excel at it, so you're wasting your time. Do some hard thinking about what you want to make your living doing.
