Mission Impossible [/ QUOTE ] I like your list but I've added & reordered: 1 Peter Gunn 2 Hawaii 5-0 3 Sanford and Son 4 Barney Miller 5 Mission Impossible 6 Night Court 7 ABC's Wide World of Sports 8 Six Feet Under [/ QUOTE ] While Sanford and Son is to me instantly memorable, your other two additions, Night Court and Barney Miller are only recognizable--I can't instantly remember them but I'd probably know them when I hear them. For that reason they aren't in MY top 5.

'bout a man named Jed... I know, someone already said it. But so far, "Get Smart", "I Dream of Genie" (the horns ROCK!), "The Dick van Dyke Show" and "The Jetsons" haven't been mentioned. I wish we weren't limited to sit-coms, I've got a longer list. Hell, since Wide World of Sports and Hawaii Five-O are getting mentioned, here's mine: The Tonight Show (Johnny Carson era), Dallas, Rockford Files, Bonanza, and Monday Night Football (Cosell era). Pass the Metamusil. A heartfelt thanks to EVERYONE, for leaving the following out of this thread: Brady Bunch, Partridge Family, Laverne and Shirley, and most of all, The Facts of Life. Of course, most of you omitted these, because you're too young to have heard of them.

I find myself whistling the Arrested Development song a lot. On a completely unrelated note: the door to my room is open and the ghost in our apt moved the chairs (at our poker table) into one another twice now . . .not cool not cool
