Default Make this call or fold?

I thought this was a difficult decision in the Stars $10 rebuy, but maybe it's not. This is the very first hand I played after I was moved to this table.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t600 (9 handed) converter

UTG+1 (t33339)
MP1 (t8289)
MP2 (t15972)
Hero (t27823)
CO (t5795)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Flop: (t6350) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Hero calls, I hope. Maybe he has a straight with KQ and doesn't want you to hit your 4th heart. Maybe he has a made flush, but would he really raise utg with any hand that makes a flush, other than KhQh (in which case you're boned...but surely he's not going to jam the flop with a mortal lock on the hand)? Maybe he has a set and really wants to protect it (kind of likely, as JJ-99 may be in his minraising range).

But, since this is the $11r, he could also very likely have something like QhQx, KhKx, or maybe QhJx, KhJx, AJ, AxQh, AxKh.

You always have at least 5 outs twice (unless he has the straight flush), often you'll have more like 10 outs twice. Couple that with the times you'll be ahead and the metagame considerations of doubling up (you can be a big stack bully/your odds of going very deep increase substantially), and I think the 5:4 the pot is laying is good enough.

I think you're way over thinking this hand, it's a lot easier call than you think. UTG pushing here is the type of thing someone would do w/o a heart flush, or even a good draw. I think UTG is pushing here trying to protect QQ or KK. Though JJ is possible, even if he has it, you still have outs.

Relativly easy call for me, the only thing you're behind is a made straight/flush, and you still have a ton of outs.

Insta-call.

Most times you are ahead I'd say, and you have shitloads of outs if you arent.

I'm not sure it's really that easy of a call considering the action. I think I can rule out a straight flush, because the guy would want action on that. I think KK would probably re-raise me pre-flop. I'm a 2:1 dog vs 99, TT, JJ. I'm almost a 3:1 dog vs KxQ [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] and a 3:2 dog vs. KQ all of which are potential holdings considering the action to this point. The only hands I really dominate here that would likely make this play are QQ and 88 with a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. There is always potential for something like AJ, KJ or AQ, but this would be a wild play for one of those hands. I realize the pot is laying me 5:4 with a chance of moving into the top 5 chipstacks, but on the flipside, even if I fold I am still in the top 40 with a lot of play left in my stack. I did make the call, but I didn't think it was auto.

The one piece of info that I think is relevant is whether or not this was the last table, and how close to the $$ you were. You aren't getting huge odds, and with a couple of stacks significantly shorter than yours, they will either take each other, or be taken out if you simply wait. This moves you closer to the money, and you still have a large stack. IF this were the case, you could fold.

I would call you have a nut flush draw and top pair, he raised min. preflop, he most likley has hit top pair and just trying to protect it.

I don't think there is a fold here outside of a satelite tournament.

I was musing...I'd be in like white on rice. Just thought I'd throw something in for consideration.
