Well, he's only paying you off if he has a good hand, likely 2 pair or better. Since theres no draws on board, its unlikely he's chasing anything (possibly AJ or KQ or something)

I'd lead the turn somewhat weakly and hope to get raised. If you check-call, you HAVE to lead the river.

I lead the flop here. If not I check raise. That is an action flop, try to get some money in.

Check calling is lame, and by your turn raise it is obvious villian did not have much of a hand anyway.

I think a reraise of the flop is interesting in these situations. Looks like you want to end the hand right now and are worried about the draw. Hopefully they think they have more than you and put some money in your pot. I think betting weaker with a lead on turn might also inspire them to continue with the hand.
