ridiculous price hike overnight here.

yesterday prices were around $2.45 or so with the cheapest being $2.39.

this morning? $3.09/gal. gotta love a 65 cent jump.

It is $1.25 cdn/liter in Ontario...about $3.90 us/gallon.

I'm in Cincinnati, last night I filled for $2.66, today it went up to $3.09

Do the math. If motor oil is $2.69 a quart, four quarts to a gallon, 42 gallons to a barrel, they're getting nearly $116/barrel for the stuff. I think they had a pretty hefty price margin already. But expect a price increase soon.

It will be at least $4 a gallon by the end of September. $5 a gallon is a distinct possibility.
