I Moved... Is it really necessary to update my address?

I play exclusively on Party and Empire. I recently moved, and attempted to update my street address, but found out they require a copy of a utility bill etc etc, which is a hassle. Is it really necessary to update the address?

Do what I did, take a digital pic of your bill and email it to them. They'll accept scans or pics of your bill with your new address and your name on it.
