About 4 hands later, he gets up and walks over to me and smashes his full beer over my head.

Great post. I don't get to laugh that hard that often. That's hysterical to read.

It reminded me of metal shop class in high school where, after a few words were exchanged, one kid cracks the other kid over the crown of his forehead with a long file. Broke it into pieces. He's standing there holding the wooden handle with this crazed look in his eyes as the other kid turns to me with blood pouring down his face. One of those WTF? moments in life. Funny.

One never knows, I suppose, when one is dealing with a wacko. I've been a a table when, after he gave a ruling which a house player berating him about, a floorman cold-cocked the house player and the whole table turned over. While they were fighting, virtually everybody else in the casino was yelling "kill him" and running over to loot the chips on the floor.

Lots of poeple in a casino are low lifes to begin with Then losing brings out the worst in them, and it's plenty bad to begin with. Good to hear you're not seriously hurt.

Well its funny now, but it wasn't so amusing at the time.

But the line the EMT gave me really did make me laugh, while trying not to drip on my shirt.

The reality is I got very lucky.

But knowing that there are players out there...even typically quiet and mild-mannered asians (probably the last group of people I'd expect someone like this from) means we all need to be careful. The odd part here is he and I really didn't even have a heated exchange.

So thank god he didn't have a gun, or a knife.

Glad you know what I meant. That's why I said "hysterical to read". I wouldn't have been laughing if I was sitting next to you. It's never funny in real time. Good story.
