Default Small Blind Play

Been at the table for 2 orbits no real reads except this is the first hand UTG has played.

UTG raises. 6 people call. I have Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

Flop is 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

My question is did I make the right call preflop? Post flop seemed pretty standard for me. Appreciate the help

Yes the BB called and I was pretty sure he would. He was playing fairly loose.

Is the blind structure 1/2 or 1/3? The call seems extremely marginal.

You're getting, what... about 10:1? Your relative position is also pretty good for pumping a big draw. I think I could find a call here.

With that many limpers, preflop is fine. You're about 5:1 to flop a flush draw, probably about 4:1 to continue for one reason or another (ie 2 pair or trips). Getting 10:1, you have plenty of equity. If there are even 3 callers, your call is fine. It would be pretty borderline with only 2 callers, I would tend to fold.

You're actually about 8:1 to flop a flush draw. It may have been a typo, but I always find it helpful to get this stuff corrected when I make a mistake.
