[ QUOTE ] do you still bet? [/ QUOTE ] My original plan was to bet a blank turn. I am not sure about it.. (that's why I post the hand). I think Villain often have lower pair or he hit his connector as natural play with J is a call for most Villains. I dont know if it is worth continuing though. [/ QUOTE ] If you are often betting turn then why not reraise flop? You avoid giving him a chance to catch something and there might be other benefits. Waiting to see a blank makes more sense on a drawing board where there is a greater spread in the danger posed by different turn cards. I'd fold to the raise myself but am curious why betting turn is the obvious line when you do play on? James |

[/ QUOTE ] I am not sure its obvious but if I call the flop raise and check the turn I practically giving up the pot (cause Villain will probably bet). If have the best hand now I will take it down on the blank turn plus I have some chances to bluff Villain out if good card hit (A,K if he has J or J if he has 1010-QQ) the problems is that it costs me 320 which is much money for a hand which doesnt have any "extracting" possibilities (that mean that I wont be able to make any value bets unless 9 hit).
