Keen observations....And i'm starting to feel that i was just playing my best. Some people play cards for fun, some to hang out, and some to try there hardest and compete. I am starting to think that all of these perspectives should be respected equally. Thx for the Post

I play at a homegame(s) throughout the week. I say save the acting for hollywood- talking almost always gives away the strength of your hand.

He would have called anyway; the Hollywood act just made you look like a moran.

it really just boils down to whether or not you and your friends get along well enough to be jackasses to each other. i wouldn't behave like this with people i don't know too well. people go to these small stakes home games to have fun. stacking someone for a 30 dollar pot with the stone cold nuts and being a tool about it generally isn't the best way to keep friends.

on a side note, do you guys call time on each other regularly? that's pretty funny.

Well I'd slap you upside the head and never invite you to another home game. Not because of ethics, just because that is one annoying thing to do.

Agreed, just play the damn cards.
