Default trips vs full house

What is the probabability that my three of a kind will be busted by a full house, if two of those cards are on the board?

I notice that this happens alot, maybe it is a probabilty flux, but then again, I had three full houses the other night, one of which got busted by a better full house. Oddly pocket treys killed by K4 offsuit.
