She thought about playing the Matusow Sheikran hand from earlier. Then she moved in on someone and may be around the 1.5m mark.

You are missing the fine points.

Greg had $415k before this hand. With the blinds/antes at 25k/50k/5k and Greg in the BB, A9 is pretty much an all-in hand one way or the other. A raise to 150k is probably right, meaning Greg decided to call $100k of his $365k preflop. I am going to go ahead and assume Greg did this knowing he would push all-in regardless of the flop and give his opponent a chance to fold if he missed his hand or it was an otherwise scary board. To say Greg should have folded this hand in this situation is ridiculous beyond comprehension.

Tiffany Williamson raises to $250,000. Shawn Sheikhan takes a while to needle Williamson before Matusow calls out the fact that he's wasting time when he's obviously going to fold. Sheikhan does indeed fold, and Wiliamson picks up the blinds and antes.

I hope they show this kind of stuff on TV.

"Except he moved in on the flop. Easy call by the pocket fives."

So, genius you think that Greg put the guy on a pocket pair and moved in his chips? Could it be that he thought he had the best hand. if that were the case he wouldn't be bluffing now would he? Or maybe his chip count was so low that he needed to play the way he did. Of course a poker genius would have known that your opponent had 2 fives and would call, now wouldn't you.

You gotta make a move with the blinds as high as they are that late in the game with that low of a stack when you get an A9

[/ QUOTE ]

Except he moved in on the flop. Easy call by the pocket fives.

[/ QUOTE ]
And of course, Raymer knew the guy had pocket 5's so what a donk move that was.

[/ QUOTE ]

Raymer should have known that he is going to look desperate in the eyes of the other players, and that anyone was going to call his puny stack off with any weak little hand they had. In other words, he should have been ready to be called by ace high in that position. And since he couldn't even beat a-10, not pushed.

It's just too bad he was tilting and let his emotions take over.

Do you know what the stop 'n go technique is? Look it up, maybe it'll stop you from looking like such a dumbass in your posts

[/ QUOTE ]

No. You should let me know, though. I am starting to take an interest in poker.

Afer her bad call yesterday, it looks like she might just be content with sitting and letting others bust out.

[/ QUOTE ]

she just picked up the blinds with a 250k raise

I thought Matusow was a dick before this started, but everything I have read about this Shawn guy leads me to believe he's a total prick. I will be happy if anyone but him wins this thing.
