Default AA fold?

2/5 NL at The Bellagio

(My account is close but may not be exact)

The majority were real loose players. I look down at AA in the late position. Four people had called the 5 by that point. I raised it to 25.....EVERYONE of em called. The flop came K-K-8.

The first guy bet 25. I was thinking if he had a K he'd definetly check. Everyone else folded to me. I raised him all in up to about 140. He hesitated for about 30 seconds...then called with K2. A 4th king came on the turn.

I know if I had just called the flop I would have gone all in on the turn anyway. But I'm curious what everyone else thinks.

Yeah, played it awful. I would make it 35. That game everyone sees flops.

I normally raise 4xbb always but since the players were all loose and all in the hand I would have either gone all in or made a really large raise PF and hope to be vs 1 opponent instead of 5.

So 35 preflop vs 25 with (about)22 in the pot would have weeded him out?

I don't get it. Do you really think that he would lead at that pot being first to act w/o a K or 88. Someone behind him was bound to have a K if he didn't have one. I also don't think that you had much folding equity against him if he had a bad K because he was so shortstacked.

200....no more no less

If you get less than 100 you can buy in for 200 more

I must have come across wrong. He wasn't short stacked. I was the one that went all in. But there have been many times in situations like that I've thrown out feeler bets in first position with absolutly nothing and taken the pot down. So just because he bet (to me) it didn't mean he had an 8 or a K.

I obviously don't play TOO good. I've lost with pocket aces 4 out of the last 5 times I've had em.

2 of those times I flopped a set.

Additionally I realize raising this high (perhaps $40 - $60) may give away information, but they'll have to pay a hefty price to gain it.
