Default Pocket 7\'s early position

1/2 No Limit (100 max buy in)

3 deep stacks, one to my immediate left, but none of which are in the hand)

I get pocket 7's in early position ($110). Villian is in middle position ($165). He is aggressive, bluffs a few times too much. Likes to PF raise.

I limp for $2 in early position. three folds and Villian raises to $10. Everyone folds to me, and I call leaving us heads up on the flop.

FLOP 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I check. He bets 10, I check-raise him $30 to $40 total. He calls. (I figure he might have a nut flush heart draw here. I know there is almost zero possibility of him having a 2 or 5. Only a very very slight possibility of a pocket pair, if he had a set, or a trips he would of let me know here.)

TURN 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet out $35. He calls.

RIVER Queen[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet my remaining $25. He calls. (I like anything but a heart here. I would rather the non-heart not be royalty but I can't check here.

He flips over Queen[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Ten[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Did I do anything wrong? I feel I played the hand pretty well, but I don't know? Thanks in advance

if you know hes on a draw, and your pot is already built, push the turn, instead of trying to milk a couple more dollars, callimg the turn like he did was brave, but you were left with very little to push with on the river, and he was getting good money calling it.

If you have 25 left on the river for a bet, why not just put it all in the pot on the turn and try to take it down right there or make his draw pay?

If he misses the draw he's more than likely not going to call a river bet. If he's not on a draw "maybe" you can fold him(ie 88 or 99) out by pushing the turn.
