Re: What I Learned From Tonights \"Tilt\" Episode
I learned that watching the second showing at 2 in the morning doesn't make the show any better, and the a cop that doesn't watch the tape his brother made before he goes to the casino is a real retard.

I learned that if I ever play high stakes, the whole table will align against me and I will lose it all in the first hand.

Re: What I Learned From Tonights \"Tilt\" Episode
I learned that as long as I tell my opponent to bet the turn, he definitely will not bet the turn and then I will make my straight for free and bust him.

I learned that if I ever run out of toilet paper at home, I can always use the $8K I have lying around as a substitute.

Re: What I Learned From Tonights \"Tilt\" Episode
[ QUOTE ]
The next time I play in the backroom of a black strip club, I am not going to check my piece at the door, that way when a "brother" strings bets I can whip out the gun and make everything turn out ok. [/ QUOTE ] I think it is also important to know that if you are the only white guy at this game, then "a guy like you" will not be allowed to leave with any winnings you may acquire. However, as long as you arrive with a black friend and unsuspiciously lose all your money to him right before you both leave together, you won't have a problem. |

Re: What I Learned From Tonights \"Tilt\" Episode
A very valuable life lesson:
If you're a lame cop on a crusade in Vegas, get berated by the floor manager for wanting to play 'No Limit' and appearing a bit fishy, sit down and triple up ($8k to $24k) in an undetermined amount of time and some chatty bastard from the Mickey Rourke school of cool sits down and buys in with a $10k chip, then starts daring you to go all in after 2 hands (how he covers the bet must be Vegas magic) with the entire table twitching like 'X22' as they fold their hands ...your best bet is to fold, leave the table and go 'relieve yourself'. |
