Default Home Game Shortstacked

In my home game that I play in, the host starts us out with 20BBs and the blinds increase by 50% every time someone goes out.

I was the short stack at the table, and after two people went out I was left with 5BB left and sitting in the big blind. The entire table limps (4 other people) and I check with J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop (5BB) is T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, I go all in for 4BBs. Table has me covered two-fold.

Is this the only move that I could make?

with four others in there, you maybe could have gotten a check raise in. i think this is the hand that you make a stand with though.

Are you asking if there is a better way to make the whole table fold? Clearly not. What exactly is difficult about this hand?

I guess I can rephrase it into a more general question: when you are short stack, which is more important to you, survival or getting value?

to go a little further, your hand is NOT that strong vs. 3 others. you do not want to entertain the idea of getting a call "for value"...bring a turn (+ a priced in river) card to overs/draws/etc.

push the flop - you done goot!
