Anyone thought of this before?

On amazon.com when you buy a book you get an option to send an email to your "friends" who would want to purchase the same book and your friend gets a 10% discount if they purchase it within one week, and in return you earn credit towards future purchases. So why wouldn't we as a community just let everyone know when we're purchasing a book, and if they want that book they can pm us with their email address and then everyone benefits. Well I just purchased PL and NL Poker and How good is your PL Omaha. So if anyone wants a discount on those PM me with email address in the next hour or so and i'll do that.
