Top Set Facing Huge All-In on Raggedy Board
4th hand of a 900 person MTT. No reads yet, small hands at the table only.
I pick up KhKc UTG. Raise the blinds (10/20) to 75. Only the BB calls. Flop is K64 (two diamonds). BB Checks. I check. I decide to do this becuase I want to build up a pot, since the pot is pretty small, and im willnig to give up the hand if another diamond hits and he puts pressure on me. Something tells me he will give me action if i check behind. Turn offsuit 3. He checks, I bet 100 into the pot of 160, he min raises i call intending to riase the river(dont put him on the diamond draw, so I dont think I need to raise here.) River offsuit 8 (K8643 no flush possible). He goes all in for about 1200 into a pot of ~600) I have to fold at this stage, right? |

I called, 95% certain I was losing, but not caring becuase I wasnt in the mood to fold top set on this board.
I lost to the low straight, 52x. |
