too passive? playing TPTK
I have problems playing Top Pair. My pokertracker stats for pair are very negative. So i decided to play them more passive way than i used to.

Re: too passive? playing TPTK
Hand One: A blank on the turn and you check? That can always hurt. Fire there about 3/4 of the pot and then 1/2 the pot on the river.
Hand Two: While a little more dangerous, still not too bad. Bet it out on the turn, raise the river. |

Re: too passive? playing TPTK
hand one: eh. i like $10 or $11 on the turn. if you get called on the turn after taking my line, a check on the river seems fine, though.
[ QUOTE ] Hand Two: While a little more dangerous, still not too bad. Bet it out on the turn, raise the river. [/ QUOTE ] really? i think its much more straightforward. 3/4 pot the turn, reevaluate on the river. as it played out, a river raise is thinish, as q-j is a possibility and everything we beat but k-q folds to the river raise. |

Re: too passive? playing TPTK
I usually bet both turns and either check behind or block the river.

Re: too passive? playing TPTK
Hand 1: Lead the turn for 1/2 the pot. As it went down, on the river, Im probobly going to value bet for around 13-15 bucks.
Hand 2: Lead turn for 4 bucks. As it went down, on the river, Im probobly raising to 10 bucks. |
