O.K., you flopped top pair, I think the flop bet is fine. I would slow down on the turn. You have top pair, good kicker, but the pot was unraised. Check the turn and hope he gives you a cheap showdown because that is all your hand is worth.

what do you think you did wrong when you played the hand?

I think i would play the hand exactly like you did, i guess i'd bet 2/3 on turn tho'. making draws pay a price they don't get on the hand, while saving money when i'm behind.

But to be frank... i don't see the problem with the way you played it.
